Leh is the capital of Ladakh, a region in the state of Jammu and Kashmir in Republic India. Lying between the the Kunlun mountain range in the northern and the main Great Himalayas to the southern side, this region is among the most sparsely populated regions in the state. Perched on a height of 3505 meters from sea level, Leh is situated towards the eastern side of Jammu and Kashmir. After a long haul in its history, Leh and Ladakh were cut from other regions of the country for long. However, now Leh has become a most popular tourist destination among domestic and international tourists.

Day 1: Arrive at Leh

Meal: Dinner
On arrival at Leh airport, you will be met by our representative and transfer you to Hotel. Lunch at hotel. Complete day for rest toget acclimatize with the high altitude in Leh (Ladakh) which is 3500 Mtrs above sea level. Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2: Leh Sightseeing

Meal: Breakfast & Dinner
After early breakfast full day sightseeing of Shey, Thiksey and Hemis. Shey was the summer Palace of Ladakhi Kings and is where you can see the 36ft. high statue of Buddha made of copper and covered with gold. Thicksey : The twelve storied monastery of Thiksey is situated in the most prominent of positions, lies on an island Mountain. Finally visit; Hemis : Farthest away from Leh, this is the wealthiest Monastery in Ladakh belonging to the Red Sect – it is here each summer that plays are held and Ladakhis from all parts of the country will visit Hemis. Evening return to Leh. Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3: Leh – Nubra Valley

Meal: Breakfast & Dinner
Morning breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road In The World) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,390 Ft, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level. Upon arrival in Nubra we check in at our Camp / Hotel in Hunder for Overnight stay. In the evening you can walk around the tiny villages to see how the locals live in this part of the world. A visit to a Ladakhi home can be arranged. Dinner and Overnight stay at Camp.

Day 4: Nubra Valley – Leh

Meal: Breakfast & Dinner
Morning after breakfast, visit / explore Deskit, Hundar and the Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari using the double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional on direct payment). Later drive back to Leh, reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 5: Leh – Pangong Lake

Meal: Breakfast & Dinner
Morning After breakfast, transfer to Pangong Lake enroute visiting Shey Palace, The ancient capital of Ladakh and 3 Idiots Rancho School & further 5 Kms Driving through a picturesque landscape we reach Thiksey an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village. After visiting above two monasteries we drive further towards Changla Pass 5486 Mtrs. the other side of the “Indo China Border”. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. After the success of 3 Idiots, this beautiful natural location has attracted more tourists from all over the world. Upon arrival we check in at our Camp near Pangong Lake. Dinner and Overnight stay at Camp.

Day 6: Pangong Lake – Leh

Meal: Breakfast & Dinner
Morning at leisure to explore the beauty of lake and later we drive back to leh enroute visiting Hemis Gompa, the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism. Drive further to Leh and check in at our hotel for Overnight In the evening you can stroll around the market place for some last minute souvenir shopping. Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 7: Drop to Leh Airport

Meal: Breakfast
Morning after breakfast, transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home.
