Day 1: Arrive at Leh Airport & Night Stay at Leh

Meal: Dinner
Assemble at Leh Airport by 2 pm. Transfer to the homestay and relax. Evening visit Leh market. Overnight in homestay.

Day 2: Leh Sightseeing

Meal: Breakfast & Dinner
After early breakfast full day sightseeing of Shey, Thiksey and Hemis. Shey was the summer Palace of Ladakhi Kings and is where you can see the 36ft. high statue of Buddha made of copper and covered with gold. Thicksey : The twelve storied monastery of Thiksey is situated in the most prominent of positions, lies on an island Mountain. Finally visit; Hemis : Farthest away from Leh, this is the wealthiest Monastery in Ladakh belonging to the Red Sect – it is here each summer that plays are held and Ladakhis from all parts of the country will visit Hemis. Evening return to Leh. Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3: Leh – Nubra Valley

Meal: Breakfast & Dinner
Morning breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road In The World) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,390 Ft, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level. Upon arrival in Nubra we check in at our Camp / Hotel in Hunder for Overnight stay. In the evening you can walk around the tiny villages to see how the locals live in this part of the world. A visit to a Ladakhi home can be arranged. Dinner and Overnight stay at Camp.

Day 4: Nubra Valley – Pangong

Meal: Breakfast & Dinner
After an early breakfast, proceed to Pangong. Pangong Lake is a salt water body of 120 km in length and 6 – 7 Km broad at the longest point. It is bisected by the international border between India & China (2/3 of the lake is in China’s possession). Visit the exact location of the famous movie “Three idiots” & enjoy outing along the banks of the lake. Overnight stay in camps.

Day 5: Pangong - Leh (160 KMS) & Night Stay at Leh

Meal: Breakfast & Dinner
After breakfast, travel back to Leh via Changla Pass (17,586 feet) and the third highest pass of the world. Overnight stay in Homestay.

Day 6: Leh - Sham Valley – Leh (240 KMS) & Night Stay at Leh

Meal: Breakfast & Dinner
After early breakfast, proceed towards Alchi. Visit Gurudwara Patthar Sahib and Hall of Fame. Admire the Confluence of Indus – Zanskar Rivers (Sangam View Point) and the effects of Magnetic Hill (Defiance of the law of gravity). Also visit Lamayuru Monastery (The oldest monastery in Ladakh), Lamayuru Moon Land View and Alchi Monastery. Head back to Leh. Overnight stay at homestay.

Day 7: Leh - Tso Moriri (220 Kms) & Night Stay at Tso Moriri

Meal: Breakfast & Dinner
Morning after breakfast travel by surface from Leh to Tso moriri enroute visiting a small Tsokhar Lake and later drive continue to Tso moriri. On arrival check in at camp. Overnight stay in camp.

Day 8: Tso Moriri – Leh (220 Kms) & Night Stay at Leh

Meal: Breakfast & Dinner
Morning visit Tso moriri Lake, walk around the beautiful lake, visit Karzok village on banks of the lake and later travel by surface to Leh. Arrive at Leh in the evening. Visit Leh market. Overnight in homestay

Day 9: Drop at Leh Airport

Meal: Breakfast
After breakfast, drop at the airport. Tour ends…
